Sunday, Sunday.......lalaaa....la.la..la..la.la.....laaa

It's a nice quiet Sunday at the Weimer-Taylor house. Jason just got done making pancakes and while I am reading other blogs and writing my own, he is reading the paper. We were supposed to go to church this morning but we didn't make it. I did not feel well last night and the last thing I requested is that we play it (church) by ear in the morning. I was tired this morning but I'm not sure why - we didn't go to bed late and we did not have anyone over last night. Anyway, I got in the shower and by the time I was done Jason was awake and he said "are we going to church"? "I would have gotten up if I knew we were going". For some reason I feel people should be reading my mind and know what I am thinking by my moves but this does not happen and as usual, I forget that. a lot.

So, we decided we did not have enough time to go and we will attend next week. I feel kind of bad though - I did not even get up to go running yesterday morning. I was lazy all weekend! What is my problem? Oh well - I will start fresh on Monday.

i have some more random thoughts this morning. 1. I wish I was a morning person but I am not. I will get up if I know other people are expecting me or there is just something I have to do but other than that..........I won't move. I hate that. I can so easily talk myself out of getting up early. I always think, I will get up early when we have kids or when I am older. I am 31. I should be in a groove by now. 2. I am going to my mother in laws house today to make some curtains for our kitchen! I can't wait - she is so good at sewing. Jason said I could purchase a curtain rod today if we finish.....yea hooo!!! I am finally getting curtains in the kitchen. Slowly but surely our house will come together. 3. I went to the Opera with my mom on Friday. It was so much fun - we saw Cold Sassy Tree at the Cobb Enerty Center for performing arts. http://www.cobbenergycentre.com/. Cold Sassy Tree is a book - a best seller that is based on a town in GA now know as Covington. This was not my favorite Opera but the orchestra was sooooo good. That is always my favorite part. I am going to start volunteering there on Sundays (as long as they accept my application). It's such a great way to see some shows for free!! Sure, I will have to wear a uniform but who cares - I get to see the arts which is something I absolutely love.
