Love the Blog

I love blogging. I asked my family for pictures of themselves so I can introduce them everyone. Although, they have no idea why - you see, I have not told anyone (except Jason) about my blog because I would like to have a few entries completed before the unveiling.....

While I wait for pictures I will introduce myself a little more. I love running, cooking, laughing, anything outdoors and believe it or not working. I feel like work gives me a purpose. I think if Jason and I were millionaires other things would give me purpose but for now, it's work. With the running I can shed stress, meet new people, feel good about myself and I feel like I belong to a community of really dedicated athletes. I am not as dedicated as my fellow runners but I am okay with that. Sometimes I wish I were but it's just not in my genes. My parents are active people but not to the point they have to do it and the Weimers are easily swayed from exercise. It takes a lot of mental work for me to keep running sometimes - but other times I can't wait. I am a true Libra. Balance, I am forever searching for balance.

As for cooking - Love everything about it. I love to eat and to try new recipes. Jason and I cook a lot because we choose not to go out that much (not that I wouldn't love that too). It takes a lot of money to go out to eat and if we did, we may not be able to do some of the other things we love so much. So, we cook a lot and it is very satisfying to sit down to a meal that you created and even more so when that meal is oh so tasty!

Laughing - I should not have to explain that one. But I really don't think people laugh enough. Life is so serious for some and I feel they are missing out on so much. I laugh all of the time including very inappropriate times. I won't go into that because some people may be offended but I know those who know me are laughing right now...... ;)

Outdoor activities - I love camping, hiking, rock climbing, walking, you name it. You would think I am oh so physically fit with all of the active things I like to do but I am not. I am average. Swimming I could do without. I love the lake but the ocean, not so much. I love the beach but I am afraid of the water. I respect that the wild life in the ocean is much bigger than me. I am always amazed when people are attacked by sharks then go on killing sprees. HELLO! YOU WERE THE ONE SWIMMING IN THE SHARKS TERRITORY! Be aware of your surroundings people. Enough about that. I think that is enough of an introduction for a little while.

I am going to an engagement party this weekend. It is going to be in Statesboro, GA and I am going with Sarah (oldest friend) and her sister Natalie. They are so much fun and the last time I was with them all night we were celebrating Natalie's Batchelorette party. Can't show you the pictures but I will leave you with this.....Swinging Richards. nuff said.

How does this stuff work?

I am trying to learn how to post a picture for my debut.....So, this post is a test run. I am going to use one of my wedding pictures. Okay, since you asked.......I will post two pictures so you can also see a glimpse of my hottie husband. ;)

This is right after we got married.

This is self explanatory....

Virgin Blogger

This is my first Blog. I am quite excited as I am now going to belong to new group of people. I belong to a running club and that is a lot of fun so I figured why not blog? Everyone seems to love getting their message out whether it be political, helping others or just to have an outlet to share their stories. I can blog at work, at home and while visiting other places! This is great.

I have been married for 1 year and 2 months. My husband, Jason, is tall, handsome and has a wicked sense of humor. He makes me laugh like no other. He gets along great with my family and I get along great with his. I have a sister Allison who lives with her boyfriend, Paul, in Boston. They are a great couple and I hope they get married one day but if not at least remain friends. We love Paul. My brother Peter lives in Colorado Springs but hopes to move back to Denver. He is in the Springs because of work but does not love it there - military town. Not that he does not like the military, it just makes for a different kind of living I guess. My parents, Rae and George live in GA not too far from Jason and I and they are the greatest - we do not see them that much because they live the life of rock stars.

Jason and I are going to purchase our first house August 21st (we are the one in the middle with the diamond window). We are so excited we can hardly stand it. It is a townhouse in the city - Finally, I will be in the city. I have wanted to move to the city for ever and besides getting married to Jason, nothing has ever felt so right.
